Cassandra Mays

Hello, my name is Cassi Mays and I am originally from a small town outside of Tampa, FL. I started playing lacrosse in 5th grade after playing with my cousins in Connecticut one summer and was fortunate to find a small league forming near me. I easily fell in love with the sport and went on to play collegiate lacrosse at the University of Florida, Go Gators! After graduation I knew I wanted to stay involved in the sport and started coaching my old team in Tampa. I met my husband and after we were married in 2015, we relocated to Houston where I was active in the growth of the sport and coaching a middle school team and working with youth and high school players for an elite travel team. We relocated to Kansas City in January 2020 with our two children Jonathan (4) and Eleanor (2.5) along with our three cats and plan to be here for the long haul. I am entering into my 9th year of coaching and look forward to helping grow the sport more and help others to enjoy it as much as I do!
